Log skidder well involved in the hills of the Welsh Mtn.
Tuesday, 10/28/2003 13:35 hrs.,Units from Blue Ball were dispatched Box area #1263, for a vehicle fire on the Gault Road. This vehicle turned out to be a log skidder in a mile long logging trail. With some muddy difficulties the Engine was able to make it to the now "well involved" vehicle fire. The fire was quickly knocked however while attempting to return to the hard road, the Engine got bogged down in the mud and with the assistance from another "skidder were able to get out and return to quarters for some extensive "demudding" of the equipment. Units finally cleared at 15:03. Units on scene; E322, Brush32, Tanker32 and Deputy 32 had the Command and Captain #1 had the operations.
